Hi!

Here at the Univeristy of Reading we offer PGCE courses for Primary- A Level education in a range of subjects! Here is the link to our PGCE page which will then allow you to click on the relevant age level and courses https://www.reading.ac.uk/education/...-pgce-qts.aspx .

To find out more about the university itself you can use the website which will give you information on facilities, accomodation, student life and much more, here is the link http://www.reading.ac.uk/.

To get a feel for the university you can use our virtual tour, which allows you to select different aspects of the campus to tour around, PGCE courses tend to be held on the London Road Campus so deffinetely have a look at that. We are a campus based univeristy with masses of green areas so make sure you look around the campuses to really take it all in! The campus is also a short walk or bus journey to town or to the station and the station itself is only a short train ride to London and less than an hour on the coach to Heathrow airport!

Let me know if you have any further questions,

Lots of unis offer PGCEs, and most people will tell you it doesn't really matter where you do it. In general, it's often better to do the PGCE in the area you want to work as you can network with schools and get a feel for the schools in the area.

However, the IOE PGCE run by UCL is the one that's sort of seen as having the most prestigious reputation.
