How can BTEC student deal with this, that's not fair at all..

It's because the structure of both are different as BTECs are more coursework based while GCSEs and Alevels are mostly exam based. Some people already done some units of it while for GCSEs or Alevels theres no assessed work that they can rely on and exams are more a risk since a lot of people will be in one place
