Should EMAs temporarily come back in England?

Given the recent announcements for financial support for businesses, the employed (or now unemployed, unfortunately) during the COVID-19 pandemic, shouldn't something be done for students too? Surely some sort of financial support similar to the EMAs of yesteryear could/should be given to students?

To my knowledge, it was stopped in England but still exists in the rest of the UK and was/is £30 pw

Thoughts?

Ema should never have been scrapped.
Sod bringing it back temporarily- it should be brought back permanently

No, theres little point in bringing it back on a temporary basis. It will do nothing in the long term but tick people off.

Why? It was replaced with bursaries for the actually poor and I spent mine in the pub.
