Advanced diploma in Economics Cambridge

Hello everyone,

I am a UCL student, currently doing History Politics and Economics.

I recently gained interest in the Advanced Diploma in Economics at Cambridge.

I had a few questions regarding the grades requirements.
My first year isn't really good, I managed to have a 60 overall.

However, my second year is way better. My grades now are around 72, and I will hopefully manage to achieve a first overall.

Most of my classes are econ related ( I am doing micro, macro and Econometrics) and it is going quite well.

Do you think my 1st year might jeopardize my application or do unis don't really care for 1st year grades?

I know that the program is fairly competitive, might not be the most but it is still Cambridge... I understood that the requirement is a 68/69, but I am really afraid that my first year might be a weight.

Anyone knows how much each year impacts our applications?
