Edge hill 2020 halls or home

Hi I’ve got a place at edge hill to do primary education with QTs but I really can’t decide if to live in halls or not. I drive and only live about 25mins away. Just wondering if there is anyone who knows or is someone living at home communing in and what’s the parking like etc .or would I be missing out on a lot if I don’t live on campus. Thankyouuu:smile:
I had the exact same debate, except I live in ormskirk itself, but I’ve decided to live in, I’m already a couple of years older and I don’t want to miss out on having a social life and making friends off my course x

Which halls are you looking to stay in? It’s such a difficult decision! Hopefully I will make the right one thanks for the advice x

I’ve applied for main halls as my first choice, but I’m not sure I’ll get them as I’m close enough to commute. Have you had a look at accom yet?
I'm first year at Edge Hill, well just finished. I'm a mature student and have a house so didn't move into halls but I'd say that if you have the choice, look at moving in to halls. I've found it difficult being off campus - I don't think any friendships are as strong as I can't socialise often and the university doesn't take people who commute into consideration. I've had days where I'm only in in for an hour lecture, then another day for an hour seminar, and I ended up dropping my language because between my morning lecture and my afternoon language class, there was a 3 hour break.
