UK exams are not going ahead for all because of covid19.
If you live in a country which is not affected by covid 19 you will have the opportunity to do the exams as normal.
Many UK students would still prefer to do the exam.
International A levels are spread across 160 countries.

CIE have said they are aware and are assessing what has happened in the UK

At the moment exams are going ahead where it is safe to do so.

The UK government has said students in the UK will be given grades even though they cannot sit exams in May and June. What is Cambridge International doing? (Updated 20 March)

The UK Department of Education has announced today (20 March) that school students due to sit GCSEs, AS and A Level examinations in May/June will receive a grade for their qualification which reflects their performance as fairly as possible, based on an approach that will be developed by the UK exams regulator, Ofqual.

We are engaged with UK government and other exam boards as this approach is developed. We are also exploring the implications of this announcement for admission to universities in the UK and worldwide. We will provide a further update as soon as we can, and thank schools and students for their patience.

Our first priority is always the safety of students. In countries where schools are open and it is safe to take examinations, Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level exams will go ahead in May and June 2020 as planned.

Can Cambridge use forecast grades for affected students?

We understand why you might want to use forecast grades in situations like this. However, we can only give Cambridge certificates for tests we develop and assess ourselves. This is what universities value as proof of candidates’ attainment.

Thus at this stage if its safe to do so i.e government hasnt closed schools and exam centres down then the exams will go ahead, but they are keeping it under review. Many UK students would prefer to sit the exam.

Ok I have noted a difference between IAL, who may consider a calculated grade and CIE who as yet are not doing so. Things may change.

I don't know if you've seen the update, but your exams have also been cancelled: https://qualifications.pearson.com/e...us-update.html
