White doesn't imply non-Muslim.

Are you really a Muslim, or just culturally Muslim?

Have you read the nasty bits, as well as the nice bits, of the Quran?

Do you believe that dating is "wrong"?

Would your parents be trouble if the relationship went anywhere?

yeah tbh im mostly culturally muslim like i wear the hijab mostly because i like it.

my parents aren't that fussed for now, my mum is more accepting of it, my dad just thinks it wont go anywhere like we wont get married so he doesn't really care.

I know that all reloious books have their nasty and nice bits. it's about how you interpret it in a modern context that matters.

and yh, i know white doesnt imply non muslim, i should have said non muslim

Replying to you so you will have to see this 'haram' thread once again.

Be careful, the haram police will probably start to guilt trip you as they consider you to be doing haram already.

That's much better than many Muslim families, going by what's posted here, which may not be representative.

That's an odd opinion, given that the Quran claims to be the "perfect" word of Allah himself. Many other "holy" (full of logic and factual holes) books don't have that issue.

Anyway, good luck. I hope that you'll be happy together.
