If there is no Act of Parliament to enforce this lockdown, how can you be arrested for breaching it? Would it not be a case of wrongful arrest?

You get a unlimited fine no matter what as you shouldn’t be out unless you need food or medicine > they’ll make an example of you since it’s big atm so I’m guessing the fine will be in the 5digits probably around £12.5k

It’s already been made a law and kinda yes if it’s law or breaks the police contract

You can only exercise for a reasonable amount (ALONE) 2hr<< and food and medicine shops only or face the unlimited fine or be forced to get tested and if you have it then arrested > if you already know you have it and you’re out you’ll get both the fine and arrested as technically you’re a biological terrorist because you have a deadly virus and you’re spreading it on purpose as you know you have it

They doesn’t need to be in circumstances like this. It Immediately got passed due to the emergency cobra meeting> laws can only be created without any parliament in specific a category is happening use as this virus although you can’t just create any law> only ones that’ll help it. Such as Lockdown

Marshal law is another name

Imo you also get £150 if you report someone who is out.

you don't need a new Act of Parliament every time you need to amend the law; it's mostly done by regulation.

this one is under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984

Martial Law, as in functions controlled by the military.

The Civil Contingencies Act passed after the fuel protests of 2000 gives the government powers to basically do what they like. However I believe additional powers were passed without a vote last week.

It's law now!

"Legislation giving the government new emergency powers to combat the spread of the disease and to release funds to deal with the crisis cleared all stages in Parliament on Wednesday, and has now become law."
