So i'm in year 10 at the moment, and was wondering how to effectively revise geography, including case studies because i'm struggling to remember the specific facts.

Hiya, I'm a year 11 student who has been studying AQA GCSE Geography.

I always struggled with case studies and thought I would never remember all the specific facts through Yr9 and most of Yr10, in Yr11 something clicked and I started getting full marks on my case study questions. My advice, and what I did, was write some specific facts that may be needed and a case study on a large piece of card and then write questions on smaller flashcards with the answers on the back. With the smaller flashcards , I would go through them with the answer on the front then guess the question and vice versa. Quizlet and BBC bitesize are also good websites for learning case studies. Also, you can usually just learn generalised things for case studies and then a few key facts that could apply to any question.

Hope this helps
