I feel like my predicted grades are not going to be as high as i wanted after the mock exams really being my turning point after i got all 6's and 7's but want 8's and 9's Is anyone else planning on resitting some of their gcse's? and if so do you think they'll be looked down on by unis as it may not show a consistent work ethic

You wont get looked down by unis just because you resitted your GCSEs

I think if you aren’t happy with any of your grades you can appeal and do the exam early the following academic year. I was meant to do A-Levels this year so I hope I’m predicted 4 A*s and, if I don’t get one in chemistry, I hope to appeal. Also, universities won’t look down on you as they cannot put something like appealing an exam grade against you. Surely, if anything, it shows dedication to high achievement?
Hope that helped 😅
