Mature student studying an online higher maths GCSE and not sure whether to pay an extra £400 for open study college to organise the exam for me on top of the study material or to do it myself at the time? Wondering what sort of price sitting your exam as an external student is from anyone who has done it before?

Any help is much appreciated!!

£400 sounds expensive for one GCSE. I paid £115.

Well I thought so too, but I’ve never done it before so wasn’t sure! It’s £399 for your study material then double for the exam as well.
Thanks for your reply, helpful to get advice from someone who’s done it!

No problem. Maybe do a search for some centres in your area that accept external students, and then compare prices. Best of luck
