what are good speech topics that are interesting to listen to
If i could redo my english speaking test now I would deffiently pick something a bit unsual or something im interested in.

Many people also enjoy listening to conspiracy theories so that could also be a good idea. On the same lines, you can do a speech about an event that happened which many people dont know about

A couple that I could think of on the top of my head would be:
How Edison didn't actually invent the electric light
Globalisation of the world
Additonally you could do a speech about your favourite book or movie

I hope this has helped

Something that influences action/change or informs others. Therefore something familiar (like recent news or popular articles etc). Pick something that interest you or that you’re passionate in.

A good example would be talking about how you feel about the Coronavirus lock down. Whether that be if you think it’s enough, why it is/isn’t, and what would/wouldn’t be enough.
you could apply any of your topic ideas to this format.

hope this helps
