Did people find it hard taking 2 facilitating subjects. I’m not the smartest but I really want to take History and either English lit or law. I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to handle it so should I just stick with two easy subjects like sociology and religious studies ?

when I joined SF I was gonna take Literature, Historh and Psychology , ended up doing Math, Physics and Chem.
I would say work can be hard - One of my friends took law, shes handling it ok but it's all about how you take it. You have to be proactive and spend time with content if you want to manage it, dont just expect it to be easy.
3 A levels are much more manageable than 4 so you'll have plenty of time for work.

also
dont just go for 'easy subjects', go for the ones you're passionate about! No point doing something just cause it's easier...
