Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to decide between three of my UCAS choices to firm and need some help.

UCL- philosophy (AAA)
LSE- politics and philosophy (AAA)
Edinburgh- philosophy (ABB-contextual offer)

I’m not particularly worried about meeting the required grades since my predicted grades are A*A*A* and my attainment at sixth form has been fairly high. My questions/concerns essentially are;

1.) Is LSE as miserable as I’ve heard to study at?
2.) Is LSE deemed more prestigious to employers (particularly in government and finance) than UCL or Edinburgh?
3.) How does UCL compare to LSE for humanities/social sciences?

Thank you! (Hope you’re all staying safe)

1) Ive heard the students are very competitive and work/future oriented, so you'd probably have a better social life at another university if that's not your sort of crowd.

2) I reckon LSE and UCL are sorta in the same league. LSE may be a little more up there.

3) LSE is the best university for social sciences
