I can't decide to go to LCOM or Goldsmiths.Watch
I've received offers to study popular music from Leeds College of Music and Goldsmiths and I'm really struggling to make a decision. Living in Leeds is definitely cheaper and more comfortable than in London but the course content at Goldsmiths looks more interesting to me. Just looking for any insight from any students currently at Goldsmiths or Lcom about what the course is actually like and what student life is like.
I’m only in year 12 but I’ve done a lot of research into Lcom and I really want to go there! I’m thinking of studying film music
My open days were also cancelled, but I know that Lcom said they were going to add lots of new details to their website on the open day section, maybe try looking there to see if that can help?
As for Goldsmiths, I can’t say anything because I haven’t even looked into that conservatoire/college. But if you think the courses are better suited to you then maybe that should be your choice? I doubt there will be any more open days till next year, so if you can’t decide you may have to take a gap year.
Maybe you should do some research on the internet for what life is like for students in each city, then you can make your choice.
All the best, hope this helps
I also found another thread about this, but haven’t checked it so I don’t know if it will help you- https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho....php?t=1004139
Update me on your situation
