So I’ve accepted QM as my firm (politics) and am v excited, but was just wondering where my expectations should be for parties and that. To be honest I’m out every night I can at home (obvs not right now ) and just questioning whether there is an ok nightlife in the uni not just London
Also which accommodation is best ?

Don't know about accommodation, but the nightlife (when not in the midst of a global pandemic) is good. Drapers Bar (the uni bar on campus) has a lot of events

Plenty of flat parties all the time, really not hard to find.

There is the SU bar/"club", Drapers, its kinda ****. But great for cheap drinks and if you just want to have a piss around with out leaving campus.

But you are in London, so there are many events. You have the main clubs in central London, Shoreditch is only down the road. Plenty of other events if you are interested in anything from techno raves to punk gigs, that are more affordable for students. Take advantage of this, and don't just spend **** loads of money at the main clubs or just go to the SU events, otherwise you might regret it. No matter what taste of music you like or what kind of night out you want, you will find it in London. And of course so many pubs! There is a Spoons right next to campus which is always full of students and great for those cheap nights you want.

Also because of the abundance of other London unis, you might end up partying with students from Kings, UCL, SOAS ect.

Pooley house is often regarded as the best for socials, most parties happen there and Feilden house. But it really doesn't matter as you will end up socialising with people from different blocks.
