Why am I still single?

So i think i'm alright and i talk to people and without really wanting a relationship, i could possibly have one. But i've decided against it. Not making out i get many offers; i'm just trying to point out i don't need no one. I have enough feeling of self worth and patience so i guess i could wait till 16- its only a year and a bit away- but why do i feel so damn lonely when i have my family and my friends ( don't forget God) and i don't have no-one to focus on for a crush or something more but it still bugs me. Everyone else has someone. Why am i still single?

But you're only 14. Plenty of time to have a relationship later. Focus on friends and school work, plus hobbies.

Thanks, I'll try. But that six years thing sounds like a challenge AND i am not ONLY 14. I am 14years, 9 months and 4 days old.... but thanksssss

I don't find it much of a challenge.
I'm 25, working three jobs plus studying and volunteering with charities supporting survivors of horrifying crimes & abuse.
I don't have the inclination, time or money for a relationship.

A lot of people don't have relationships until they're a lot older.
Plus... you kind of said in your OP that you feel as though you don't need anyone, that just might be something that factors into it. :tongue:

i didn’t get my first serious boyfriend until 20 (6ish months ago) and honestly it’s nice but not at all like you see from outside or on the internet. Just stay away from boys id say, especially at 14 they’ll be more successful at taking advantage of you
