Every 4 weeks. Next pay date for us is the 22nd August. There's a cut off date for wages though.

I think so, cos I counted 4 weeks on in my diary. Yeah that was the last paydate.
I work in river island and in our shop think its the same every other one. you get basic hours for the last four weeks and then any overtime hours from 2 weeks before the last pay date and the next 4 weeks after that. so we get paid august 22nd. so you are paid for overtime between 13th jul and 10th aug. hope that helps x

Hello, I used to work there (left in august) but if you work hard and become friendly with the managers you are likely to be kept on, but if it's anything like the one where I worked the managers were all very close and could be quite bitchy so try to stay on their good side or they make working there hell!!
Good luck :-)

At the induction you pretty much just sit there while they go through the employee handbook, which says you must be clean and well-presented, don't be late etc. and then you have to demonstrate you can climb on a tiny step-ladder thing, pick up a heavy object (it was just a chair for us, you just have to bend your knees, keep your back straight) and then they take you on a tour round the store, show you the fire exits, stock-room etc and then thats pretty much it :-)
hope that helps
