I am doing my drama gcse this year and I need to chose a monologue, i am female but i don't mind doing a male character.
The monologue has to be from a published play (It has to have an isbn number)
The thing is I don't know many plays, because where i currently live we only have one theatre, and I used to live in London but moved when I was 9 and don't think i went to any plays.
I am also more in to musicals than plays personally

Please can you give me some monologue suggestions (I don't mind what genre or anything else)

Thank you so much

Edit: I have dyslexia so please ignore any spelling mistakes

You could search online for "books monologues for girls".
We used some last year in college.
Musicals? Blood Brothers? If you're allowed, Narrator has a couple of good ones. I think one is called "18*...awesome...I'm trying to learn it!
If you go into YouTube and search on "Blood Brothers Part 7" and ".......8", it starts towards the end of 7 and continues in 8.
P.S. Didn't spot a SINGLE spelling mistake..well done!

Hi there!

I found a really useful website to find monologues - https://www.backstage.com/monologues/
It lets you view various monologues and define your searches, you can search for just female monologues too.

Hope this helps!
