I usually begin my cover letters with "To whom it may concern,". It's generic and works no matter which person is going to read it.

Is anyone aware of any upcoming networking opportunities at investment banks?

Should we just predict a grade, because Citibank wants to know. Is it rude to predict a first when you received a 5.92 GPA (max is 6.0)?

related to finance or work experience in general? related to finance no but I've had five paid jobs so will tailor that

Doubt it sadly! a week doing something finance related will likely outweigh Sainsburies, Restaurant, Tutoring etc.

I should have done tutoring. I got good grades throughout school and was a good student.

I feel like they are just looking for genuine passion which is why some people with 4 finance internships don't get in whereas others with no experience do get in.
Hi - I'm doing a course where I have two years in uni, then a placement year in year 3 and then my final year at uni in year 4. Would this count as a three year course? ie I would apply for spring weeks in my first year?

I am currently taking a gap year after A-Levels and I am 18, but I would have a pretty strong application for my age.

I have a good academic background - Maths(A), Chemistry(A), Physics(A), EPQ(A*)
Run my own Ecomerce Business - £50,000+ revenue in 5months
Also had work experience at Lloyds Bank

Do you think I would have a chance at an IB Internship at this age, or will I be competing with too many uni grads?

A Levels are fine, and the e-commerce business sounds very commendable. However, most spring weeks are only open to 1st years or 2nd years on a 4 year course. There may be some schemes that will be open to you though on a gap year such as JP Morgan Step In Step Up programme or Mckinsey Leadership Academy, if you're interested in consultancy
