Which topics could I write about in an essay with this title?
I've wrote about the importance of b cells/ plasma cells in producing antibodies and the absorption of glucose into the blood using Co transport proteins. I can't think of any other topics that could link!

- prosthetic groups (e.g. haem group in haemoglobin)
- membranes (how proteins can be positioned within the phospholipid bilayer e.g. in photosynthesis or respiration)
- the fact that translation is carried out at ribosomes (ribosomes are made partly of RNA)
- the fact that translation requires tRNA
- protein folding requires an aqueous environment, so water is needed for proteins to fold
- function of protein depends on its primary structure, primary structure depends on sequence of gene (so DNA is important)
- pH (i.e. protons) can affect catalytic efficiency of enzymes

Maybe think about enzymes (globular proteins) and how they interact with cofactors and coenzymes too?
