Is it possible that some people who live very unhealthy lifestyles such as those who smoke 20-40 a day, drink a lot of booze and live to their 90s without ever getting cancer are immune from getting cancer?

I know that cells contain tumour suppressor genes and there are DNA repair enzymes that prevent cancer. Is it possible that in these people the tumour suppressor genes are duplicated and very highly expressed compared to in normal people?

Of course otherwise we’d all die from cancer. Just because someone’s doesnt get cancer doesn’t mean they won’t get other serious diseases like Alzheimer’s or dementia or diabetes or heart disease
