Snapchat Recent List

Hey, I’ve recently discovered that in my recent list on snapchat I’ve been getting random people that I don’t even recall adding pop up on my recents like high up aswell, this is annoying me because my girlfriend is now worried about this a lot, I’ve not added anyone on Snapchat recently at all and 4 people including 1 boy have popped up high on my recent list and I don’t recall adding me at all. If anyone has an explanation to this it would be helpful thank you.

Maybe it's something to do with your privacy settings
