Does this make me a bad person?
If I do not want to talk to a gay friend about my sexuality conflict and my families homophobia because she is happily in a relationship and accepted and talking to her about all this just makes me sort of envy her and it leaves me feeling worse?!
That's completely fair. You don't need to talk to her about anything if you don't want to and can decide for yourself if you need to ask for support and who to get it from. If she's a good friend and finds out about all of this eventually she should understand that you weren't ready to tell her.
