A distinction is definitely a good start! 
As suggested have a play with the calculator and see what your options are. A lot of it will depend on the units and how you've done in each individual unit

my grade got changed from a D to a D*
Unit 1: P to D
Unit 2: P to D
Unit 5: D
Unit 7: D
Unit 10: D
Unit 19: D
This would make it easier to achieve D*D*D maybe, right.

You're so lucky. Please can you tell me how you recieved your individual grades for each unit? I want to know this so badly.
You can check individual grades for each unit on proportal aswell.
