Whats the difference between A-level art and BTEC level 3 art

As a current y11, I wish to take art further but probably not past a level studies. Therefore i wonder if taking the BTEC qualification would hinder me over taking the A-level?

What course do you intend to do after?
What other A levels?
What grades do you think you will get?
What target unis?

Most likely not, but can have a better insight if you give the above details.

i am not sure what i want to do after, perhaps something to do with history or business. I want to take art because i feel unless i take it as a subject at school i will loose motivation and therefore my skills.

For my other subjects I am thinking about History and then either French or Philosophy (i really cant decide between them)

Because of the whole coronavirus thing i am not sure about my grades, for art GCSE i was predicted a 9, and my teacher was confident i could achieve this. For my history mock in y11 i got a 9 and french a 7 (i am defiantly not the best at french which is why i hesitate to take it!)

I like the idea of going to UCL, but don't know if this would be possible?
