Hi everyone,
I just had a couple of questions about Film Studies.

I really enjoy film studies, it is very interesting fo me as a GCSE Student. I do the Eduqas (which is basically WJEC) Exam board at my school.
1) I wanted to know if Film Studies is a respected subject for GCSE? DO universities like Oxford and Cambridge find it a good subject?

2) What careers can I mainly do with a Film Studies GCSE? Will a FIlm Studies GCSE be beneficial and helpful to become a YouTuber?

3) Do people see Film Studies the same as Media Studies (and occasionally Photography)?

3) Is Film Studies a demanding subject? (since it is a relatively new and modern GCSE Subject)?
I don't see many schools doing GCSE Film, but in my school, it is one of the most popular GCSE Subjects. It has 4 classes which is basically 1/3 of my year group that does Film Studies in year 11.

Any answers will be greatly appreciated! Feel free to tell me your experience as a Film Studies student too! Thanks

Unis don’t care what subject you do unless they have stated but care more about the grades you get in them
