Hi what are the best textbook for common law, criminal law, public law and contract law?

Hi!
These are the books I found really good in first year.
I don’t have any recommendations for common law, but I have some for the rest
Criminal law:
Smith, Hogan, & Ormerod's Essentials of Criminal Law
I didn’t actually use this book very much because the resources I was given for criminal were very in depth but I did find the book to be clear and pretty good
Public law:
Complete Public Law: Text, Cases, and Materials
This book was an absolute lifesaver for me-I liked the format and the information is clear.
I originally bought the recommended book by my uni but I found it really hard to read and the information wasn’t concise enough
Contract law:
Contract Law: Text, Cases, and Materials
I stuck with the recommended book for contract- I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it does have really good information. This book is good paired with a revision book like the Law Express series
I can’t stand clunky pieces of text together and I’m a visual learner so these were the books that I found to be the best, but it does depend on your preference
