Secondary research dissertation help on results section vs lit review

Dear all,
I am currently writing a secondary piece of research for my dissertation. I am really confused as to what the difference is between the literature review at the beginning, and the results and discussion section. I'd understand this if it was primary research, but as my secondary research uses some or all of the academic sources I've already discussed in the literature review, looking at them for information to support or disprove my hypothesis, is the point of the study, but how on earth do I lay this out in a results section? Is it a case of doing a chart saying something like, amount of studies that agree, bla amount that don't bla? This is not straightforward to be honest as they may have conflicting evidence within the same study. My supervisor has been worse than useless, in giving me info. The study is looking at whether being outdoors aids second language development. Anyone done a secondary research dissertation? Help most appreciated please!
