LPC Training Contract for international students

Hi everyone!

I'm currently studying B Law/B Languages in Australia, and I'd love to take my LPC in the UK (I'm a citizen, so fortunately a visa isn't a problem, but I'd still be an international student as I don't have the residency requirement).
I have heard, though, that it's really difficult for international students to get a training contract, and I can't really find any information on the internet about it. Does anyone have experience with or knowledge about this?
