How can universities expect us to achieve our best amongst this?

How can universities expect us to achieve our best amongst this? Especially when your in your third year so it counts the most and we're in a incredibly stressful uncertain time. How are we (anyone) supposed to work amongst this?

They will take it into account. You are really competing against your peers?
What do you expect them to do? Its hardly their fault.
Third year is stressful anyway, you have to adjust and adapt.
If its too much then go and get a letter from the GP and defer your year.

To be fair - a lot of universities are adopting a no detriment policy, meaning (provided you pass?) you are guaranteed your average so far. So your grade can only go up or stay the same as the result of these exams, not down. Universities are quite keen not to disadvantage people.
