What were your GCSE results and a-level predictions?

I'm graduating from Cambridge this year, but when I applied I had 3 A*s, 5 As and 3 Bs at GCSE. I was predicted AAB at A Level I think. They don't put as much emphasis on predicted grades as you think- the interview, your personal statement and any additional info is much more important.

Yes, I took part in debating/ MUNs/ other school council positions. I also volunteered outside of school, and took part in sports. I'd say extra-curriculars are really positive- not essential, but you need to show some personality or passion outside of school if possible. I read Politics and International Relations (HSPS).
