Paramedic tuition loan

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help. A few years ago I completed a HNC in General Engineering; does anyone know if this means I will not be entitled to a tuition loan for a Paramedic Science course? It was funded by my work so technically self funded as far a SFE see it?

Thanks for any help.

Hi there, will you be receiving funding from the Ambulance Service Trust?
Thanks, Isaac.

Hi Issac,

Only other funding will be the £5k bursary. I do not know anything about funding from an ambulance trust so no.

My HNC was 2 years part time so im under the impression i could get two years of tuition funding?

Kind regards,

Olly

How many years will your paramedic course be? Have you only got 2 years of previous study?
Thanks, Isaac.

Hi Kinsley, your 2 years of previous study will affect your eligibility. You will have to self fund the first year of your new full time course.
Thanks, Isaac.
