Since we are in quarantine I thought it would be a good chance to get ahead on some reading needed for the y13 coursework next year. I'm really stuck on what to do though. Ideally I would like to compare with The Lovely Bones, but can't think of or find any pre 1900 novels that would compare. Not fussed about any particular theme atm, just want to get two books first.
Any suggestions with The Lovely Bones (or other pairs of books) would be appreciated!!

the way you're approaching this is wrong. You need to pick a theme first then pick the books cuz both books should be of the same theme/genre. For example, dystopia, sci-fi etc

I have never read The Lovely Bones so Idk any book that is similar so just pick a book that looks interesting and is ofc academic that has the same genre.
