So how much does the average person spend on a night out?

i always seem to spend loads , and spent £70 last night :frown:

Im talking about a nightout such as pub/bar followed by clubbing...

erm....don't get so wasted? even if you are buying rounds, that's a helluva lot of booze.

myself, i don't tend to drink very often so on myself i'll spend a tenner max.

Pub and Club, usually £30-£35, but thats usually because ive already tanked up 8 cans of fosters before ive even left for the pub, unfortunatly it takes a lot to get me drunk

Reply 4

About £20-£30. Less if i drink before i go out.

Reply 5

Yeah, usually £25.
How much do you take out with you? I only take £30!

Entry: £3, Takeaway: £2, Taxi: £3 and then about £15 on drinks.

Reply 6

Around £30ish i'd say.
But then again it depends where i go and on what night of the week.

Reply 7

Entry: £5 or £7
Taxi: £25 (both ways included)
Subway: £5
Pub: £10
Drinks: the rest

normally i spend whatever i take with me but a normal night is about 40 to 60 quid :frown:

I spent £15 last monday; £4 on entry to club, the rest on 5 Jack Daniels and Cokes.

Reply 9

God only knows... a lot.

Back in first year at uni, I used to be able to get a completely pissed night out in the Union for £10. Oh those long-gone days of glory.

Reply 10

£21 to £30, I try to limit my spending.

OMG!! How far away from town do you live?
I can usually get a lift into town and then it's like £6 home, so it's at the most £3, because i'm never on my own in the taxi.

Reply 12

£15

If I'm in Edinburgh I can walk home and we never go to clubs that charge, so that pays for a good few pints.

If I'm in Sheffield pints are much cheaper so it pays for a couple + a few quid for a club + a few quid for a taxi.

its about a ten minute drive, the cabs start at about £5 after midnight and getting outta town is crazily slow :frown:

yeah i always try and share one but i can never get lifts in to town...

Reply 14

Depends greatly on the night of the week but can reach up to £40 on weekends.

Reply 15

i dont drink alcohol so i dont spend much when i go clubbing. i just pay the entrance fee, and then drink tap water the rest of the night. oh, and yes i still have crazy fun without the alcoooooooooohewl.

if im going out to a restaurant with friends, or cafe crawling (our nicer version of pub crawls) i will probably spend more
because of food and transport

ahh thats rubbish, it would put me off going out so much if i knew i had have to fork out 25 quid a night for taxis.

Reply 17

Yeah i know, its the most annoying factor about going out

ive walked home before but that took about a hour and a bit! and i jogged for about 10mins of that...

Reply 18

Usually about £25, including taxi fare. Sometimes, only spend about £10. Once i managed to spend nothing.
