A quick google later (why couldn't you be bothered?) found this: "Lactic acid produced by fermentation of milk is often racemic, although certain species of bacteria produce solely (R)-lactic acid." It was even in the first link: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chebi/searchId.do?chebiId=CHEBI:422
