i got 12 A*s at Gcse if that helps.

GCSEs don't mean anythingg, but i guess yours are quite good.
if i were to advise anything, i would say, why not go for the third maths A level or physics instead of one of the other sciences if you're not so sure?
Reply 27
what would you recommend as the third Maths a level?

Physics..Hmm Maybe.

Not really, it won't do you any harm though.

Bear in mind that if you're going for Cambridge then you'll also be taking STEP, which is a hell of a lot of extra work. If you don't think that you can get five As then it shows that you won't be able to cope with that much extra work - so it would probably be best to take three and then dedicate your extra time to STEP.

well, if you're doing edexcel, then, by taking all 18 modules, you get 3 maths A levels. it's what i did and it didn't seem too hard.
either that or physics. either would almost certainly be easier than chemistry, and i know nothing about biology, so good luck with that.

Oh Yes, STEP..

Hmm, what is the best revision for that?

Past STEP papers.

And what grade is usually needed to get into cambridge for STEP?

Outstanding, Grade 1, Or Grade 2, which is the minimum requirement.
Reply 34
most offers these days are 1,1
that should be fine if you understand the whole syllabus and do a fair few past papers. you don't need to worry about that for over a year yet though!

LOL ,

What syllabus, The a level one?

No idea what the minimum requirements are, but my mate got asked for two grade 1s this year and apparently it was pretty much the same for everyone (though he applied to Robinson because he thought that they would make a lower offer).

You'd be better off asking this stuff in the Cambridge forum anyway.
