I’ll go first with a few:
1. Edwin Booth was the older brother of John Wilkes Booth. He was an American actor who performed Shakespearean plays around Europe. He famously saved the life of Robert Lincoln - who was Abraham Lincoln’s son - by pulling him away from a platform edge whilst a train was nearing. This was about 12 months before his older brother (JWB) assassinated Abraham Lincoln.
2. George VI competed at the 1926 Wimbledon Championships - the only member of the British Royal Family to do so. Unfortunately he was knocked out in the first round of a doubles tournament.
3. Hurricane Hattie was a Category 5 Atlantic hurricane in the 1960s that hit Belize, Guatemala, Honduras. Belize suffered the most damage and in response relocated its capital from Belize City to Belmopan to try and avoid a repeat (Belize City lay on the coast of the country with Belmopan situated more inland).
Andrew Bonar Law (prime minister at one point) was really disliked by HH Asquith (prime minister at a different point around the same time) and was the only prime minister to be buried at Westminster Abbey. Asquith said at Bonar Law's funeral that it was fitting that the "unknown Prime Minister is buried next to the unknown soldier."
