Hi everyone, back in 2009 I was half way through an HNC in Graphic Design but had to drop out (divorce) I completed 5 of the units and I have these on my SQA award results, can I use these units and pick up where I left off in order to complete the HNC?

I don't know if they expire as such, but I think you'd need to talk to the individual program provider to see if these units are still used/directly comparable to replacements. Can but try
