log3 27 - log8 4
Solve the equation;
4^x - 3[2^(x+1)]=0

Well 3^2 = 9 and 3^3 = 27, so what does that tell u about the log of 27 to base 3?
Similarly, 4 = 2^2, so given that 8 = 2^3, can you rearrange this to get 2 as a power of 8, and then 4 as a power of 8. This will tell u what the log is.
For the 2nd question, think about putting y = 2^x. What is 4^x in terms of y?
