Vet Nursing

Hey all, I’m after some advice. I am looking at vet nursing. I have a good amount of experience with a good range of animals and I’m a mature student of 30 looking at doing a vet assistant course or animal cert then leading to a level 3 nursing or a degree. Would people recommend a degree route or a diploma and work in a vets and gain more of a hands on experience.

Diploma all the way is my recommendation if you can find a training practice. I don't see the degree as advantageous, just costly (I am a dinosaur vet and ex VN employer here who qualified over 30 years ago)
