Im going to need to seriously sit down in a dark room for a week to decide which one to get. I’ve always been an Xbox man but tbh their exclusives are limited and not that great, whilst the PS has a wealth of great single player exclusives. The only real reason I have Xbox is because it offers the best value for money overall , Gamepass is seriously worth it.

Sony seem to be money hungry and charge premium prices whilst surprisingly Microsoft offer great deals so its a real catch 22. I was a big Gears of War fan back in the day yet Gears of war 5 is an awful game I couldn’t even finish it..

I'd probably go Series X simply because I've got the One S and don't want to buy my games again to play them on the next gen (given afaik both are said to be backwards compatible). For exclusives, Sony would always win because there aren't really any Xbox exclusives, only Microsoft exclusives, so a PS5 and decent gaming PC would have you covered on basically all bases
