Durham/Edinburgh

Durham! Well, apart from the student union and some hill colleges.

I'd probably really go for the Royal Agricultural College (if we are including university colleges).

St Andrews, Durham, Glasgow et al.

It all depends what you find beautiful really; in the eye of the beholder and all that...

Reply 4

From what i saw when I visited...St Andrews!!

Reply 5

Though I've never been there; St Andrews or Edinburgh perhaps...

Reply 6

Durham/Edinburgh/St. Andrews.

Some of the London universities are quite pretty as well - RHUL springs to mind. Cardiff's rather attractive, too.

Reply 7

St Andrews is indeed quite picturesque..

Reply 8

erm I dunno...notts has a pretty campus with ugly buildings

Reply 9

Exeter/Durham.

Although I'm a bit biased towards Exeter! Did you know that there are more trees than students? :p:

Reply 10

Oxford has quite a few social issues; inequality is everywhere.

Anyway, here's Glasgow university:

Nonsense, Glasgow Uni looks like something out of harry potter. Plus it's in the nice area of Glasgow.

Precisely what I was thinking.

durham, st andrews are probably the next "pretiest"

but i quite like birmingham, cardiff, parts of imperial - the buildings might not be "pretty" but they are rather impressive buildings.

The Birmingham clock tower, and the clock tower in imperial (queens????) - i think are really impressive but not necessarily pretty
