Sheffield Uni questions!

Hi, I'm applying late for Korean Studies at Sheffield University after deciding that I am not getting what I'm paying for from my current course at Cardiff (although I love the uni and will miss my friends if I get accepted.)

I've done a little bit of research but I'd like to hear some recommendations from people who are currently studying at Sheffield.

What is a good accommodation to choose? I lived in an accommodation this last year with shared bathroom facilities which wasn't that bad, but I lived in an all-girl residence and have no experience sharing living spaces with men besides my dad.

I've heard there are ensuite rooms as well as standard flats with shared bathrooms. Is either/or better?

Also what is each accommodation like socially? I haven't lived in an accommodation with tons of people so I'd like to know what each of them are like. I don't mind parties or drinking etc, just wondering whether it's easy to get on with people at Sheffield.

Any other information you can provide would be appreciated.
