How To Get An Oxford Engineering Offer: Index

Hello, I’m NemesisRider. In January 2020 I was excited to receive an offer from the University of Oxford to read Engineering Science at University College. If you’re reading this, you must be at least mildly curious about studying the subject at Oxford; however, the application process may seem daunting, especially if like me you come from a state school background with little Oxford precedent and a lack of specific guidance available from teachers. This is my advice to help you successfully apply for engineering at Oxford.

Thank you!! Your posts are so helpful - originally wanted to do medicine. Maths and Physics have captivated my imagination - I will apply for Engineering without A-level further maths.

Hello, I have a question. The ESAT cover topics from the entire two years of A levels / IB. By the time we write ESAT in October, several of these topics would not yet be covered at school. So…can I ask whether you learnt those topics by yourself? Any advice on that?
