-Contextual links to Macbeth as the devil.
-Banquo is the ancestor of the real king, James 1, when Shakespeare wrote this play so Shakespeare is implying that James is the true king from the prophecy about bin quo’s descendants getting the throne
-contextually everyone hates the supernatural at the time Macbeth was written. Macbeth followed the advice of th pe witches and therefore became basically evil, while bNquo did not and remained righteous
-contextual links to the belief that the king was chosen by god and Macbeth committed a crime against god by killing Duncan and that is why he could not be a good king because he was not divinely chosen
