I have come across many women who have smiled at me but as though it may seem as an indicator of interest, it can be difficult to tell if they want to be interrogated at random.
As common as may be, I have autism so I shy away and look down wherever a girl makes eye contact.
Being an indian or compared to a FOB, it is hard not being judged for being a creep, that is often shown when a girl gives a stern look in return, although indirectly.
On social media, I make the first step but in real life, I wait.

I usually make the first step both offline and online, but there have been a few instances where the girl approached me first
