Where can i do a GCSE in Belfast if its not offered by the Belfast met

Im an adult learner and i want to do a GCSE in history, specifically. However when i contacted the Belfast met they told me that they dont offer the subject as a part time course, nor do they facilitate exams for external candidates. Can anyone offer me advice?

There is no longer an exam centre in Belfast to accommodate private candidates. You can try contacting a local school.....

what Happened? is there any chance it will restart again?
