BM6 as in Southampton's 6 year medicine course? You will come out at the end with the same medical degree as everybody else (actually I think you'd have two degrees on the Southampton course). BM6 just has an extra year tagged on to the beginning of the course which I'm guessing covers more basic science.
At the end you would move straight onto a foundation program and start working as a junior doctor. You could use the degree to go into other jobs but I wouldn't recommend going into medicine unless you are sure you want to become a doctor.
