End Product Inhibition

Is end product inhibition always done by a non-competitive enzyme?
Because there is a question in my book that explains why their more likely to be competitive rather than non-competitive, so I'm confused.

Is End Product Inhibition just an example of how non-competitve inhibitors can be useful?
And that in reality competitive inhibitor are mostly used in EPI?
Would you be able to post the question?

To my knowledge, end-product inhibition involves allosteric (non-competitive) inhibtion of the enzymes.
